Botswana Agate is found almost exclusively in Botswana, Africa — one of the few places in the world where this specific banded variety forms. It's a type of chalcedony quartz that develops in volcanic rock over millions of years, with its distinctive layering created by silica-rich water depositing minerals in slow, rhythmic waves. Each band is a record of time — a geological diary written in stone.
